Pens, Turn for Troops

Purpleheart Pens for Purple Heart Recipients

So far, in 2015, 51 pens have been presented to the local chapter of the Military Order of Purple Heart.

100 Pen kits have been donated, there are over three hundred blanks available, along with some pouches and flag pen clips.

Toys, Holliday Presents for Children

We make and distribute toys for needy children. We do about 1800 toys a year.
The toys are distributed through schools and social organizations. Wheels and
axle pins are provided by the club where necessary.

Toys are due on or before our December meeting.

Frank Pickett is the point person for this project.



Beads of Courage

We are making boxes for the Beads of Courage program which has its national headquarters in Tucson.

Size 6 inches or larger. 5 inches minimum.
Lids easily removable
Finials easy for small child to grasp and not too elaborate.

Empty Bowl Project

The silent auction is held the day of the Empty Bowls event which is Friday, November 7th from 11:00-2:30 at the Mulcahy YMCA/Kino. 2805 E. Ajo Way. (Map)

Bow Wow Meow Community Art Auction with members contributions.

Members donated 15 items to the Pima County
Animal Care Online Community Art Auction.
The project raised $20,023 of that $500 was
due to donations make by woodworkers
