Dear Fellow Woodturners,

The turn out for the Xero Craft Hackers Space was well attended. Even though I had been there before, I still learned a lot. Terry Glover did a marvelous job as tour guide. Terry is one of the most knowledgeable regarding Xero Craft and is a fine teacher.

The August meeting will be on August 11th.

Elaine Miller won the Bring Back in July, so she will be supplying a Bring Back item.

Ken Tower presided over the Instant Gallery Critique and added his unique witticism to the event. Thanks Ken, always a pleasure.

President's Choice for August is a toy, so if you have not turned one, get turning!

Jerry Marcantel will be demonstration his unique method of wood stabilization. I am already familiar with Jerry's method and find it very interesting and useful.

Plan on what pieces you want to bring to the next meeting for the "instant gallery." It's a perfect time to share your work with other club members. And if you find something of interest in the instant gallery, take the time to ask the maker about it may be about how it was constructed, techniques used, or finishing. It's time to share our thoughts with others. Anyone with donations (e.g. tools, machinery, library books or videos) see any one of the committee members.
